Terms and Conditions of BENNETTS HOME LIGHTING Product:-

All products conform to British and EN standards

All products manufactured by vetted sources in accordance with current legislation at time of purchase.

Dimensions and wattages are given as a guide only to assist the consumer and therefore do not constitute a legally binding contract.

Description and finishes are given as a guide only to assist the consumer and therefore to not constitute a legally binding contract.

N.B. Height measurements are provided excluding chain and ceiling fixture where applicable, as there is a variable involved.

Light bulbs are not included in any sale unless stated

OUT DOOR LIGHTING. All cast aluminium, stainless steel and nylon fiber products have a 5 year guarantee against corrosion. These guarantees are null and void if products are installed where there is salt, fertilizers and chemical pollution in the air.

Shipping:-

We ship to Mainland and all Scottish Highlands and Islands , N Ireland , Scilly Isles, Isle of Man, /Channel Isles. There is a cost of £10.00 for orders below £100.00 for UK Mainland and there is a surcharge for all other destinations please contact sales@bennettshomelighting.co.uk or place the order and we will contact you with the surcharge and give you the option of going ahead with the order or cancel where a full refund will be returned to you.

Goods will be sent using a 24H service from completion of order to mainland destinations and 2-5 working days to all other destinations.

Goods are available for dispatch within 7 working days of receipt of order.

Goods that are out of stock may take up to 14 working days of receipt of order.

In the unlikely event of goods taking longer than the 14 working day period you will be contacted by a customer service representative who will give the option for the order to be cancelled if the lead time is unsuitable without penalty to the consumer.

Refunds:-

All products carry a 14-day no quibble money back guarantee.(minus any carriage charges incurred by bennetts Home lighting)

The fixture cannot have been installed or modified in any way and must be returned in its original packaging complete with lamps and any other parts supplied. (See returns policy).

We have the right to refuse refunds for failure to meet the above criteria.

Faulty Goods:-

Any damages, Faults or shortages must be notified within 7 days of receipt. (See returns policy).

Bennett’s Home Lighting can not accept responsibility after this period

Faulty or damaged goods will be replaced or refunded in full in accordance with the consumer's requirements.

Bennett’s Home Lighting will in no way be liable for any costs incurred due to faulty goods or shortages such as electricians fees, time taken from place of employment etc.

Warranty:-

All products with the exception of lamps (light bulbs) carry a 1 year return to base warranty. (See returns policy)

In the event of a fault occurring the product will be repaired or replaced according to the nature of the fault.

The warranty applies to electrical components only and is void if deemed that the fitting has been incorrectly fitted or suffered abuse in a manner not intended for the purpose supplied.


Returns Policy:-

To return goods for any reason please E-mail customer services department who will give you a returns authorisation no. Relating to the purpose of the return to be displayed on the parcel.

Goods without returns authorisation no. Will not be accepted.

Goods returned must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

Goods must be returned at the expense of the consumer by registered means.

Goods returned for reasons relating to a fault will be returned to the consumer at the cost of bennettshomelighting.co.uk as long as they conform to the relevant criteria (see warranty)

Cancellation Rights:-

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you are given the right to cancel your order without giving a reason within 7 days of placing the order. The cancellation period in the case of contracts for the supply of goods begins with the day on which the contract is concluded.

The cancellation period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. Should you exercise this right to cancel you must return the goods unopened and at your cost. Upon receipt of returned items, you will receive a refund less the original delivery costs and excluding any costs incurred in returning them. Any returns will be credited within 7 working days to the Credit/Debit card which made the initial payment. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

The product you ordered being unavailable from stock.

Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.

The identification of a pricing or product description error.

In all instance, we will keep you informed of the situation and communicate any problems with regard to the order within 3 working days. Returns Policy:-

Should an item supplied be found to be faulty or damaged upon receipt, please contact our customer care team, who will arrange a replacement item or a full purchase price refund.

A qualified electrician must install all products supplied.

All products must be earthed where necessary.

The mains supply must always be isolated prior to installation.

N.B. incorrect installation can deem warranty void. (See warranty).

Installation accessories such as screws and raw plugs etc are sometimes supplied depending on supplier

Liability will not be accepted for any personal damages such as electrocution due to improper installation.

Your statuary rights are not affected.
